Tritest offers laboratory solutions for both soil and water testing.

Analytical Services

Tritest is a combination of Metals, Bioassay, Wet Chemistry, Microbiology and Organics Laboratories. Each lab maintains an array of modern instrumentation to cover the required analytical testing requested by our clients. Tritest takes pride in the fact that we own highly reliable production instruments including GC, GC/MS and HPLC developed for the environmental field. This produces timely and dependable analytical results.

Our Elan 6000 ICP-MS is ideal for effectively analyzing a large number of metals samples at lower detection limits. It is a completely automated system that makes analyzing metals economical and routine thus providing our clients with faster results. Tritest is certified by the EPA for wastewater, drinking water, soil and sludge analysis.

Personnel

Our staff includes a multi-disciplinary team of chemists, biologists, microbiologists and environmental specialists with over 20 years experience.

Tritest maintains approximately 6600 square feet of office and laboratory space located in Raleigh, NC. This facility serves over 500 public drinking water systems, wastewater facilities and consulting firms. Our clients include municipalities, industries, homeowners, engineers and agricultural producers.

Client Services

Staff members guide you through the details of laboratory analysis by providing analytical reports and services that simplify your decisions. Tritest knows reliable laboratory services can only be achieved by commitment to consistent service and quality. Our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) allows us to schedule your analytical requirements for you.

Sample Shipping

To ensure data quality, we provide at no additional cost sample containers and shipping supplies. Sample kits containing sample bottles (with preservative) will be shipped to your specific location along with preprinted Chain of Custody forms and shipping labels.

Field Services

With over 20 years of experience collecting samples using EPA protocols, Tritest can help you meet your compliance monitoring needs. Tritest maintains sampling equipment for waste stream/effluent composites and groundwater monitoring.

Quality Assurance

Tritest maintains an ongoing Quality Assurance Program. The primary methods of monitoring the quality of data are the participation in various audits by state agencies, internal PT samples and monitoring of quality control charts. The Quality Assurance Officer oversees the QA program to guarantee the accuracy of reported data and insuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
